This week the marching rockets travel to Blanchester on Friday as the Football team takes on the Blanchester Wildcats
Band Pictures are tomorrow during class starting at 1:20. We will change into uniforms, do the Senior Group photo, A full band photo, and then individual pictures. All students should get a photo in case you would like to order them later.
The individual pictures will last past the end of the school day and This game only, Mr. Moore will be staying after school until the report time for the game. If students bring in $2.00, Mr. Moore will order pizza so they can have a snack. Students staying after school with Mr. Moore must stay in the band room. We will be watching the movie Drumline if Mr. Moore remembers to bring the DVD from home or Drumline 2 if he forgets. Let’s all hope he remembers to bring the DVD.
There are a number of other activities that happen after school on Friday. Students are welcome to go to quiz team. Students may not be on school grounds unsupervised.This is your friendly reminder that the Pumpkin Run is this weekend and traffic will be crazier than usual.

The band will be working the Horse Barn Booth. Check in with the athletic boosters at the fair grounds walk in gate. There are many other booths that other CNE groups work-This is the only booth that earns money for the band. We still have shifts on Friday for adults only. Aunt Frieda and Uncle Al are welcome to work.

I am so proud to take the CNE Marching Rockets back to my alma mater to perform with the Ohio University Marching 110 and 26 other high school bands.
Tentative Schedule- October 15, 2016
6:00 a.m. Report to CNE HS in blue band shirt and jeans. Take uniforms and hats on bus. Trailer should be loaded from the night before.
8:30 a.m. Arrive at Ohio University unload trailer. Watch Marching 110 Practice.
9:00 a.m. Practice with the Marching 110
11:00 a.m. Bring $3.00 We will be getting Goodfellas Pizza and drinks. We will change into uniforms.
1:00 p.m. Enter Peden Stadium
2:00 p.m. OHIO vs. Eastern Michigan
5:30 p.m. You may remain if you wish to watch postgame.
If your family or friends want tickets to the game, there are discount tickets available to members of the high school bands.The code for families and guests to use to purchase tickets is BANDS. They can enter the code online at OhioBobcats.com when ordering their tickets for that game.
