Band Camp is next week at the CNE campus. They are still finishing up the air conditioning project. Drop off will be at the band room entrance and we will adjust as needed for the rest of the week.
Monday is 5:30PM-8PM
Tuesday-Friday is 8AM-5:30 PM
Friday, there will be a show for family and friends starting at 5:30 to show off all we learn during the week. Our first show of 2016 will be featuring the music of Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull.
The band booster camp cost is $40 per student. Each student will receive 4 lunches, expert instruction and a 2016 Tour T-Shirt. Checks can be made payable to CNE Band Boosters.

We will also be doing uniform fittings during band camp. If your student needs new band shoes, the cost is $25.
I try my best to be at every band event 30 minutes before the report time to open the door. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE INSIDE THE SCHOOL BUILDING BEFORE MR. MOORE OR MR. P ARRIVE. Band camp week is a good chance to figure out who lives near each other so car pools can be arranged. Please leave the first two spots by the building available for band director parking. Students must wait in the area outside the band room for pick up. I don't want to leave anyone unsupervised. If you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, please make other arrangements for your child's transportation.
Lastly, it is very important that students eat properly, rest effectively and hydrate properly. The CNE Marching Rockets work hard to prepare for our performances. We are only as strong as our weakest member, and you aren't helping anyone by being tired or sick and sitting on the sideline. Be prepared to work hard.
