This week the marching rockets have the homecoming game on Friday. The football team is playing St. Bernard Elmwood Place.
Tuesday, September 13 Practice 5:30-8:00PM
We will be working on the new show for Friday-CNE Marching Rockets Greatest Hits Vol. 1
Focus of this rehearsal will be cleaning the new halftime show. Review Pregame. Learn the new dance for halftime.
The band booster meeting for Tuesday Night has been cancelled.
Thursday, Sept 15 Bonfire 7:30 Report
Band will be playing at the bonfire near the practice field. No uniforms. We will play towards the beginning and then band students will be dismissed to either stay or go home.
Friday, September 16 Football vs. St. B (Homecoming) 5:30 Report
There will be a pep rally on Friday during school.
Report time is 5:30. We will load the trailer, change into uniforms and depart quickly(we will not be practicing before the game). IF you arrive after 5:30 we may need to leave without you and meet after the parade. The homecoming parade starts at 6PM in Owensville
All CNE Band Alumni are welcome to meet in the band room during third quarter. Alumni band will perform with the marching rockets during post game.
We have received our sign up sheets for the Pumpkin Run. The band will be working the Horse Barn Booth. There are many other booths that other CNE groups work-This is the only booth that earns money for the band. We have shifts on Friday for adults only from 6AM-10:30AM, 10AM-3:30PM, and 3-8:30PM. The band is travelling to Blanchester that night, so band students can’t work. Saturday we have shifts for adults and students 7:30-10:30, 10-3:30, and 3-8:30. Sunday we have shifts for adults and students 7:30-10:30, 10-1:30, and 1-4:30. Aunt Frieda and Uncle Al are welcome to work.
There are a number of students who still owe for money for band shoes-$25.00
